For all the details, see the attached pdf. Since we're only taking 12 participants, we recommend that you register as early as possible.

The Couples Group(details below) will be limited to 6 couples only, so that you will receive plenty of high quality attention and work, both individually and as a couple. This intensive is intended for couples who (1) want a more conscious, authentic, loving, passionate, and liberating relationship with each other, and (2) are ready to work through whatever’s in the way. Attached is a pdf describing the group.

The Men's Evening Event is limited to 8 men. Contact me (caseycapshaw@gmail.com) for details.

For individual and/or couple sessions, contact us at info@robertmasters.com.

And the Friday September 12th Evening Event at the Boulder Center for Integral Living? For our last two times there, our theme was "Transformation Through Intimacy", but our actual topics were very wide-ranging (and mostly determined by questions from the audience). We don't have a theme yet, but it will be along the lines of "Living a Deeper Life" or something similar.

Let me know if you would like more information or have questions about participation. My partner Laura and I will be at the Coulpes event, hope to see you there.

case

BREAKTHROUGH
A WEEKEND GROUP IN BOULDER
September 20th-21st, 2008
with ROBERT AUGUSTUS MASTERS
& DIANE BARDWELL MASTERS
Deep, efficient, highly effective breakthrough work for those who want to make wise
use of their difficulties, and who are ready to work through whatever is obstructing
their liberation.
Everything can serve our healing and awakening. Especially the difficult stuff. Going
toward, into, and through whatever is troubling us, rather than just rising above or
otherwise avoiding it, is a deeply liberating journey. Along the way we learn, firsthand,
to be intimate with all that we are: high and low, dark and light, dying and undying.
This group will be both a catalyst and sanctuary for such deeply transformative work,
providing a safe place to let go of playing it safe. The work will be not be prestructured,
but rather structured in fitting accord with group and individual needs and energies.
All kinds of issues and concerns — from the deepest trauma to the seemingly trivial —
will be dealt with, through a dynamic, creative mix of psychotherapy, bodywork,
spiritual disciplines, dreamwork, and group practices.
And the group will be small, being limited to 12 participants only, so that there will be
enough time for everyone to receive in-depth attention.

LOCATION: Solstice Center, 302 Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado.
TUITION: CAD $550. A deposit of CAD $250 is required, nonrefundable after August
1, 2008. I went out there intending to help with production of the event. Lucky (i think;) for me, there was an extra spot and they threw me in to fully experience what AMP is all about. Boy did I get it!
<zaadz_holding id="71216" />
AMP markets to guys having trouble in relationships or in meeting women. Fair enough, this is a big challenge for most guys and a pretty good motivator to get in there and do some work on themselves.

I personally don't have much trouble meeting women, or getting into relationship, but I am single, and deep conection can be a challenge for me. I always thought this was because I had not met the right woman. That might be part of it, but I uncovered something I had never known about myself that is a key contributor to this situation.

It seems pretty simple to me now, I close off my heart. My core wound, or shadow issue is expressed as a guardedness, mistrust and defense. I let people in, but only so far. I have created complex systems of defenses to keep people at a distance where this shadow side of me does not have to feel threatened. The result--I don't feel anything.

The expert facilitators at the AMP program have put together a brilliant series of exercises and experiences designed to explore the parts of ourselves that are hidden, in effort to achieve more wholeness, Integrity, appreciation and presense. it works.

I was blown wide open. I had no idea this shadow was coloring my worldview so strongly. This is the singlemost transformative shadow-work intensive I have ever been a part of.

I realize this is a state experience, and old habits can and will rise up and challenge this openness I am currently experiencing. Now that I have seen what is possible, I am setting up practices to support this work, that I will continue for the rest of my life.

From this place meeting and talking with women seems effortless. I am excited to explore deeper relationships with everyone in my life, and invite new relationships. I am in touch with my passion and feeling it fuel everything I do. It's good. I recommend this work to everyone,,,,wholeheartedly.

Wed, 20 Feb 2008 22:18:43 -0000 http://casey.gaia.com/blog/2008/2/hey_casey_its_your_heart_remember_me The New Man: Is Pornography Great for a Relationship? http://casey.gaia.com/blog/2008/2/the_new_man_is_pornography_great_for_a_relationship
<div class="ze_ItemNonEditable ze_container" contenteditable="false" id="ze_container_622" style="float: right; Everybody I know is entrepreneurial in one way or another, if you're not, you're probably having a hard time getting by in the current career environment.

Casey Capshaw: Marketer, Producer, Blogger, Friend, Lover, Man-about-town...but not entrepreneur. When I hear the title Entrepreneur, what I really hear is "I'm trying to start something sucessful on my own, but i'm not there yet." Nobody cares about that anymore. Nobody cares that you are risky, stubborn, likely hard to work with, and have yet to bring your vision into reality.

Tell me where you have had successes, however modest. Tell me what you are passionate about. Tell me where you are doing the most learning and growth right now. Don't give me vagaries.

This is largely a semantic critique. I love the entrepreneurial spirit and the people putting themselves out there, in uncertainty, to do what they belive in. My point is that that is, or is soon becoming, the default professional state. The idea of long term employment is retiring with the Boomers. The once romantic risks taken by the "entrepreneur" are now the default conditions of anyone in information (and most other) professional careers.

I know you are an entrepreneur. You are your company. You do your own branding, you do your own promotion for this company, you attract clients, you perform services, and you handle accounting. Keep on rockin, just don't expect to get a cookie for doing it.

Being an entrepreneur in todays professional, informational environment is a requirement not a unique attribute.

Thu, 10 Jan 2008 19:34:29 -0000 http://casey.gaia.com/blog/2008/1/im_no_longer_an_entrepreneur Technology is shrinking the world! http://casey.gaia.com/blog/2008/1/technology_is_shrinking_the_world We all know the internet is bringing the world together. I happened to meet a young podcast producer recently that is quickening this process with technological, social, and global implications.

SpanishPod.com is a clean, straightforward site offering free spanish lessons (with a premium paid service as option) for online play or podcasting.

They have tons of content on this site with very relaxed, intimate conversations between talented hosts. Communication is the first barrier to cultural understanding and the more access we have to the interiors of other cultures, the faster we move towards world-centric meaning making, a worldview essential for solving global problems.

As producer of my own podcast at Falling Fruit, this is very exciting for me.
