The Maxwell House is having a warming party!  we moved in a few weeks ago and have settled in a bit,,,well Gwen is set, Paul is 80% and I...well...i live there too!! ;)

OK, Ok i am still living out of tupperware storage containers, but hey, i am a man of means...





So we thought it time to throw the proverbial(and literal) doors open to our close friends and have a party.  you are all my close friends, so come on over!

Save that trip to Pier One, we are only accepting housewarming gifts of the living organic nature...and legal please ;)   We need to make plenty of O2 to keep Seth alive should he visit.

Considering the conscious intention of this house, and the amazing group of freinds we have met in Boulder, Expect this event to span the spectrum of social entertainment. 

Robert will be there, and we all know he is a renaissance man on the capoiera floor as well as the acustic guitar.   Paul has mysteriously disappeared into his room on several occasions this week, so don't be surprised if you see some artifacts of the fine artistic persuasion present.  
Rob MacNamera has been rumored to make an appearance, so if you had hoped to demonstrate value through games of strength, you may want to plan another tack.
I have yet to hear from Ballard, but such is his style, and in grand form, he never disappoints.
Brondu wishes he could be there, but really its better for us that he is in Canadia, our livers don't stand a chance against that crazy canuk.
Speaking of Canadia, i think Rollie will be absent as well, busy reporting back to his Canadian leaders on the espionage he performed while stateside. 
I wouldn't be surprised if there is not a sighting of Corey, Nomali, Jason, BuffDuff, Keith, Rich,  Kira, and the list goes on. 

I am tired of hyperlinking....

But as you can see, its gonna be pretty much the coolest thing Boulder has ever seen. 

Roomates, feel free to chastize me repeatedly for blowing this thing wide open.  I give till 10:30 before Boulders finest puts an end to it all.

I just had a meeting with the creator of a new web creation called Jabbits.  I love the concept and execution. Basically it is a community Q&A that works through video.  Ask it anything, anything, go ahead...and it is up to the community to answer, all in easy to use video clips. 

good stuff.  can't wait to see this type of thing integrated into other web services.


 

The birth date of my dear friend Rich is celebrated today and I encourage all to raise a glass.  

Rich has been an influence, a support, a mentor and a friend to me for the past year and a half or so and to that i am pleasantly indebted. 

The vajra sword has found its warrior in you my friend, carry the wisdom.

I love 37 signals.  Their tools are great, their philosophy is great, and their minimalist design is great.  Their latest tool is perfect for the emerging solopreneur or small business!

HighRise is a contact management and follow up utility with all the powerful, minimally designed functionality of Basecamp.  I just signed up so I have yet to explore fully but i like what i see so far.  I am a big proponent of online applications that help my productivity..who isn't.  37 Signals never fails to deliver.  I'll post again as Highrise undoubtedly becomes an indispensable part of my web-based conscious business arsenal.
