Let go of the concepts you have known of media forms.
There is no holding to the containers we have used before.
There is a great effort in the courts and in the market to preserve the media vehicles of capital that have been sources of abundance for the past decades.
The efforts are futile.
The ubiquity of the information age is birthing new forms. Freer and fuller, less restrictive than the previous forms. Faster to market, leaner, targeted. This is natural cultural and artistic evolution. Do not resist, there is no resistance.
Net-nutrality, FCC, RIAA, you must learn the conditions of this new world and capitalize on the possibilities. There is no preservation in a world of exponential acceleration.
The film industry, the last bastion of the Industrial Age, has developed a crack in its dam, only a matter of time now.
To the industrial media machines: "we no longer need you."
Drop the walls and embrace your own peristroika. Join the proletariat as we charge fleet footed towards the next horizon.
